On Sunday, March 13th, the annual Just Food Conference will bring together more than 800 community organizers, CSA members, local food advocates, urban and rural farmers, and entrepreneurs for a full day of workshops and discussions focused on building a more equitable food movement. Just Food's Conference programming covers local and national food policy issues, approaches to urban agriculture, culinary and food preservation techniques, and strategies to mobilize communities in order to increase access to fresh, locally grown food. We are thrilled to welcome the six farmers of Rise & Root Farm, who will deliver this year's Keynote Address.
The 2016 Just Food Conference will be held Sunday, March 13th, in partnership with the Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education & Policy at Teachers College, Columbia University. For more information and to register, visit justfoodconference.org.
