The Good Food Jobs Fair (Meet • Network • Grow Your Career) will take place at the end of the first conference day, and will be a physical manifestation of the Good Food Jobs website: a place where we connect people looking for meaningful food work with 40 businesses that need their energy, enthusiasm, and intellect. Job seekers can gain ideas for employment while getting face to face time with real-life food businesses and potential employers. The fair will feature businesses, organizations and education programs, offering to enlighten you on the opportunities available in the field, both literally and figuratively. Good Food Businesses will have an opportunity to talk to the folks who are looking to work in the field of food, give them advice on what you are looking for in an employee, help train them to be better applicants, and inspire more engaging and passionate people to devote their energy toward working with good food. If you're not actively hiring, that's okay. This event is not just about existing jobs. It's about building the movement.
