Why do you want to work with a Farm School NYC apprentice?

As a teacher for Farm School I am eager to continue the education partnership that begins in class. The most valuable experiences are gained by learning by doing and through the trial and error of experience. This will be a very interesting position for those applying as they will get to experience a farm in its start up phase. I feel a partnership with Farm School apprentices would be mutually beneficial. I am happy and eager to pass along my knowledge and am in need of skilled/educated farm help during the farms first season.

Queens Botanical Garden is located in one of NYCs most culturally diverse neighborhoods. This gives us the unique position to reach out and interact within these different communities.
