DONOR SPOTLIGHT

On July 29, 2009 Edible Brooklyn and Manhattan hosted Good Beer at BAM, an event showcasing great local food and craft brewers. They used the opportunity to highlight organizations working to create access to healthy food in New York City. Just Food was honored to be selected as one of only two nonprofit beneficiaries of this exciting culinary event. We thank the Edible Communities for their generous support!

Edible Brooklyn and Edible Manhattan have been longtime champions of Just Food’s work. In addition to sponsoring Let Us Eat Local 2008, they have covered our work in their publications, and in spring 2009, Edible Communities honored Just Food with a 2009 Local Hero Award.
